Washo stain doctor: Lipstick stains

Lipstick stains? Signs of affection – but please not on the collar! 💋

A quick kiss, a spontaneous styling moment – and suddenly, lipstick is where it doesn't belong.
But don't worry: Dr. Washo helps with even the most dramatic color crimes on shirts, blouses, or dresses – without any chemicals.

🔍 The diagnosis

: love at first sight – stain at second glance. Lipstick stains are in a class of their own:
grease, color, wax – a mixture that doesn't come off easily.
But with a little know-how and the right natural helpers, you can iron out even this matter of the heart.

🚨 Immediate help & Caution:

  • Do not rub! This will only smear more dye into the fabric.
  • Dab with a dry cloth, to absorb excess grease.
  • Dab directly withlemon juice or a drop of alcohol (e. g., vodka, disinfectant).

🧽Step-by-step instructions

  1. Pre-treatment with lemon juice:
Apply some freshly squeezed lemon juice to the stain and leave it to work for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Baking soda + water:
Apply a small paste made from baking soda and water , rub in gently, and leave to work for another 10 minutes.
  3. Use stain remover soap:
Rub the area thoroughly with Washo stain remover soap – leave to soak in for 15 minutes.
  4. Wash:
Wash as usual, ideally with a spoonful of Washo active oxygen in the main wash cycle.

Dos& Don'ts

Do this:

  • React quickly – lipstick stains set quickly
  • Use natural solvents (lemon, alcohol)
  • Gently rub in stain remover soap, do not scrub

Avoid:

  • Rubbing with paper – this spreads the color
  • Hot water at the beginning
  • Direct ironing or use of a dryer before washing
