Washo Stain Doctor: Mustard and<tamp>BBQ stains</tamp>

Mustard on your shirt? A classic summer disaster! 🌭👕 You just want to enjoy a leisurely barbecue—and suddenly mustard splatters onto your white T-shirt.
Don't panic: Dr. Washo has the solution to this yellow drama.
Natural, effective, and stain-free.

🔍 The diagnosis

Mustard is spicy, yellow, and unfortunately a real beast when it comes to textiles. The dyes (especially turmeric) and oils it contains tend to bind stubbornly to fibers.
But with the right natural helpers and a little patience, you can get your shirt clean again.

👉 ATTENTION: A good sausage doesn't need mustard!

A little side note from the stain doctor. A really good sausage doesn't need mustard. This well-intentioned advice won't help you now that the damage has been done ;-)

But Fleckendoktor always recommends grilling a St. Gallen bratwurst or an Olma bratwurst. These are slightly whiter than other bratwursts (because they contain milk and not just water in the recipe) and have a really good consistency. The sausage is also already seasoned with a fine blend of spices. So you only need mustard if the sausage doesn't taste good otherwise (at least that's what a convincing St. Gallen native once told the stain doctor).

🚨 Immediate help & Caution:

  • Carefully remove the stain immediately – e. g.,

    🚨 &

    • with theback of a knife or a spoon .
      Important:do not rub!
    • Then rinse from the back with cold water , to wash out the dye.

    🧽 Step-by-step instructions

    1. Pre-treatment with lemon juice or vinegar:
dab the stain with lemon juice or vinegar – leave to work for 10–15 minutes.
This is particularly helpful for yellow dyes (such as turmeric).
    2. Baking soda:
Sprinkle some baking soda or baking powderon the damp area, rub in gently, and wait another 10 minutes.
    3. Use Washo stain remover:

    4. Washing:
      Then
wash at 30–40 ° C with a spoonful of Washo active oxygen, if the stain is already old.
