How much Washo do I need for my laundry?
The packaging states:
1 Washo washing strip for 3-6 kg of laundry.We generally recommend using 1 Washo washing strip for a standard load of up to 6 kg and "normally soiled" everyday laundry.
For half-full or small loads, you can also use just half a washing strip if you wish. You can easily cut Washo laundry strips in half.
For very full or larger machines, or for heavily soiled laundry, you can also use 1 1/2 or even 2 Washo laundry strips.
The perfect washing dosage depends on various factors (z.B. machine type, water hardness, degree of soiling, etc.) and requires a little "trial and error" depending on your needs.

What influence does the water hardness have on the dosage?
Water hardness has a decisive influence on the dosage and the washing results for your clothes. As with conventional detergents, the harder the water, the more Washo you need.

Which laundry is Washo suitable for?

What do I need to bear in mind when storing Washo Tabs?

How do I use Washo Care solid shower care and shampoo?
Using solid shower products is just as easy as using liquid shampoos and shower gels. First, shower as usual and, if you use shampoo, rinse your hair thoroughly. Wet the solid shower gel or shampoo and rub it briefly between your hands until it starts to foam. Then you can rub it directly onto your skin and hair and massage in the lather. Rinse the lather completely from your skin and hair.

Where do I place the Washo Care products in the shower?

Is Washo a Swiss company?
Yes! Washo is a genuine Central Swiss company and a Swiss trademark registered with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
Where does Washo produce?
We are now the first company in Switzerland to produce all our laundry strips locally in Germany. Our laundry strips are manufactured there on a new production line. The relocation of our entire production to Europe is a major milestone that has taken several years to achieve and now sets Washo apart from other suppliers on the Swiss market.
The dishwasher tablets, natural active oxygen, stain remover soap, Washo Care line, and cleaning and dishwashing powders are also manufactured in Germany. Even the high-quality storage containers in the stylish Washo design are the result of our high standards of quality and sustainability in German production.
We are very proud to support Swissproducers with Washo CareSwiss Edition products, the wooden measuring spoon, and dishwashing brushes made from Swiss wood.

Is Washo climate neutral?
Yes! Both Washo as a company and the Washo brand are certified as climate neutral by Carbon Connect.We fully offset all CO2 emissions from production and transport.
In addition, we plant a tree for every pack of Washo laundry strips, Tumbler Balls, Washo Tabs, oxygen bleach, etc. sold. In collaboration with Tree-Nation, we have already planted around 500,000 trees, which offset an additional 20,000 tons of CO2.

For every pack of Washo laundry strips, Washo tabs, Tumbler Balls, oxygen bleach, etc. sold, we plant a tree together with Tree-Nation. This means we not only offset all CO2 emissions from production and transport, but also all emissions from your laundry cycles. To date, we have planted approximately 500,000 trees, which offset around 20,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
1% for the Planet member
We invest 1% of our total sales in local, regional, and international sustainability and social projects run by various NPOs. As a member of 1% for the Planet, our commitment is transparently and regularly reviewed by external parties.

Why is sustainability particularly important when it comes to washing?
Water has always been the most important resource for all life on our planet. When washing, doing the dishes, and cleaning, we all pollute the environment with chemical pollutants directly through our wastewater.
Protecting our waterways is essential, and "everyday" habits such as washing or doing the dishes constantly pollute them to a high degree. For Washo, this is reason enough to take action and combat both unnecessary environmental pollution and the misuse of resources.
